TELECOMMUNICATION ASSISTANT

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years work experience
• Experience as telecommunications Assistant

Job Description:

• Assist the Communications/Telecom Technician in installation, use and maintenance of VHF/HF communication systems and equipment.
• Assist the ICT Officer in maintenance of V-SAT, ICT systems and LAN;
• Provide user support and training on radio communication to incoming staff;
• Man and operate the UNDP-CHTDF radio communications room;
• Advice on radio / telecom policy;
• Process security clearance requests including daily travel tracking;
• Any other task assigned by the Safety Management Specialist / Deputy Safety Management Specialist.
