Service Manager (Caterpillar)

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years managerial experience of a Caterpillar workshop.
• Ability to diagnose and overhaul engines (3500 series is a must)
• Qualified Caterpillar trained Diesel Fitter / Mechanic with the requisite trade certificate
• Minimum of 5 years work experience with a Caterpillar dealer and requisite references
• Ability to use Caterpillar systems such as; ET, EST, SIS, etc.
• Experience with the generators is an advantage

Job Responsibilities:

• To achieve budgeted sales and profit. Provide a high level of customer service.
• Responsible for the day to day operation of the Service Department. Implement efficient work processes and procedures.
• Effectively manage and clear all Work In Progress (WIP). Ensure continuously improvements on Customer Value Agreements.
• Provide on the job training and ongoing development of staff. Established and maintain Cat Contamination Control culture.
• Maintain a high level of Safety and to be OHS compliant.
