QUANTITY SURVEYOR/SENIOR QS

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience for Quantity Surveyor
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience for Senior QS + UAE Authority approvals + MRICS “
• Salary Package: “Quantity Surveyor – 17,000 – 22,000 AED (Inclusive of overtime) Senior QS – 28,000 – 33,000 AED (Inclusive of overtime)”
• Prior experience in construction supervision or operation and maintenance of major roads, bridges, and infrastructure projects

Responsibilities:

• Handle post-contract functions, including interim and final payments, variations, cash flows, claims, and contractual correspondence.
• Conversant with CESSM
• Provide advice on contractual matters and ensure all requirements are met.
• Advise on contractor’s resource allocation and audit contractor payments.
• Ensure timely and complete submission of valuations.
• Record and check measurements of work completed.
• Prepare variations and day-works.
• Monitor and update the final cost estimate for the contract.
• Maintain and track expenditure records.
• Review, negotiate, and prepare claim settlements.
• Coordinate and monitor the activities of the team.
• Prepare financial statements for monthly reporting.
• Relevant work experience in quantity surveying or construction, with expertise in cost estimating and contract administration
• Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills; proficiency in construction software
• Familiarity with construction processes, drawings, specifications, and contract regulations.
