Machine Operator (Blow Moulding)

Qualifications:

• Technical diploma/degree is a plus.
• Basic understanding of thermoforming process and attention to details.
• Ability to work and communicate with others.
• Experience with ILLIG, WM, KIEFEL, GN machines, is an added advantage.
• Ability to lift, to bend, and to stand or walk for long periods of time.
• Willingness to work in shifts (late or early hours, weekends, and overtime if necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, startup etc.) to start a production cycle.
• Control and adjust machine settings wherever and whenever required.
• Operate machine according to instructions.
• Plan and feed raw materials whenever required.
• Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools .
• Test operation of machines periodically.
• Fix any issues that might occur during the shift
• Inspect final product on line for any quality non conformances.
• Keep records of approved and defective units or final products.
• Maintain activity logs and production records.
• Perform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor.
• Comply all safety and health regulations.
• Clean machines and maintain cleanliness in work area
