KITCHEN HELPER

Qualifications:

  • Basic culinary knowledge and familiarity with kitchen operations and terminology
  • Strong commitment to cleanliness, hygiene ,and safety standards
  • Physically fit and able to handle the demands of the role ,including standing for long periods and lifting heavy items
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment and follow instructions carefully
  • Basic proficiency in spoken English to communicate with supervisors and team members
  • Reliable, punctual, and with a positive attitude towards learning and teamwork

Responsibilities:

  • Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation tasks
  • Wash, peel, and chop vegetables and other ingredients
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen utensils, equipment, and work surfaces
  • Dispose of kitchen waste in accordance with health and safety standards
  • Organize and stock kitchen supplies and ingredients and Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and storage areas
  • Support the kitchen team with any additional tasks as needed
  • Assist with unloading deliveries and proper storage of goods
