KITCHEN HELPER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years work experience
• With good communication skills
• Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant is beneficial

Responsibilities:

• Food preparation: Assist with basic food prep by washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables, portioning ingredients, and preparing food items for cooks.
• Dishwashing: Wash, dry, and put away all dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils.
• Cleaning and sanitation: Keep the kitchen area, equipment, and work surfaces clean and sanitized. This includes mopping and sweeping floors and wiping down surfaces.
• Stocking and organizing: Receive and store food and supply deliveries, restock ingredients, and organize supplies and equipment.
• Waste removal: Routinely empty and replace garbage bags and take out trash and recycling from the kitchen area.
• Support: Assist with other kitchen tasks as needed, such as helping with food plating or clearing tables.
