Heavy Diesel Mechanic

Qualifications:

• Male / Female
• 25 to 40 years of age
• Manual Drivers License Holder (Heavy Rigid (HR) License preferred)
• A Heavy Rigid (HR) vehicle license allow you to drive heavy vehicles with three or more axles and a gross vehicle mass greater than 8,000 kg. You can also tow a trailer with maximum GVM of 9,000 kg.
• Willing and able to work 2 weeks on 1 week off roster, FIFO.
• Willing and able to do day and night shift (if applicable)
• Graduate of Automotive Trades Course (Australian Cert 3 heavy vehicle mobile equipment, AUR30405 equivalent)
• Experience working abroad/overseas, mine site experience preferable.
• Experience with CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi (Volvo, Haulmax, Leibherr, Atlas Copco, Epiroc equipment)
• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
• Able to read and interpret technical drawing
• Have good communication skills in particular English (Listening, Speaking, Reading & Writing)
• Holder of Australia Skill Assessment such as VETASSESS will be prioritized
