HDPE Pipe Layer (Team Leader)
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in HDPE pipe laying
- Knowledge in temporary works or shoring
- Knowledge in welding & testing HDPE
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and drawings.
- Experience with laying concrete pipes
- Familiarity with site equipment, including hand tools
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Good ENGLISH communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Oversee a crew of pipe layers and other workers involved in the pipe laying process.
- Communicate with foremen, project managers, and other trades to ensure the project runs smoothly.
- Read blueprints and plans to mark out the work area and prepare trenches using machinery.
- Supervise the laying of pipes, ensuring they are properly positioned and secured.
- Address any issues or challenges that arise during the pipe laying process.
- Ensure work is completed to the required standards and that all safety protocols are followed on the job site.
