ESTIMATION ENGINEER

Qualifications:

• Minimum bachelors level degree in Construction Management, Structural / Civil Engineering is preferred
• 5+ years in the structural steel construction industry, preferably Design/Build and/or industrial and commercial construction.
• 3+ years of estimating / cost estimating management experience in GCC same field.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare pricing estimates, including developing a takeoff of all material and labor required for the project. This takeoff will be combined with outside vendor pricing to produce a complete project cost estimate
• Prepare detailed estimates, proposals and furnish complete notes, conditions, exclusions, inclusions, assumptions and deviations as per the client requirements.
• Superior proficiency in estimation preparation techniques.
• Work with outside vendors to request and receive project-specific pricing to meet firm deadlines
• Checking contract documents, RFI’s, specifications, etc. to ensure drawings are accurate.
• Adhere to applicable building codes and company design standards
• Coordinate with operations and outside vendors on how the job is to be built in both our shop and in the field.
• Coordinate with the customer to help ensure we are providing a complete package with a thorough understanding of the project schedule and project-specific requirements.
