ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN (INDUSTRIAL PANEL BUILDER)

Qualifications:

  • Must have experience in electrical panel assembly, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • With strong knowledge of industrial components and control systems.
  • Has ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
  • Familiar with industrial safety standards and proper electrical assembly practices.
  • Skilled in wiring, crimping, and testing tools.
  • With experience building panels for industrial automation, factory machinery, or power distribution systems.
  • Familiar with PLC systems, VFDs, and industrial control logic.
  • With basic understanding of industrial communication systems (Modbus, Profibus, etc.) is an advantage.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of working with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and wire electrical control panels, junction boxes, and enclosures according to technical drawings and schematics.
  • Perform continuity and functional testing on completed panels to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Read and interpret electrical diagrams, wiring schematics, and layout drawings accurately.
  • Troubleshoot wiring issues, faulty components, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures.
  • Assist in the modification, upgrading, and repair of existing panels and systems as required.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met.
