Electrical / Instrumentation QA/QC Engineer

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a Bachelor’s / College Degree holder in Engineering(Electrical/Electronic) or similar fields.
• At least 10 years of experience in petrochemical or Chemical plant Construction industry
• Computer Literate; Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in writing procedures, reports, prepare schedule and analyses data; Numeration depends on experience and qualification

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Experience in Electrical / Instrumentation Construction works activities at worksites especially in oil & gas or chemical plants.
• Scheduling regular meetings with vendors, site inspectors, managers, and staff.
• Monitor work progress including sub-contractors; Assisting with the recruitment and training of new staff.
• Able to interpret P&IDs,, electronic schematics, circuit diagrams, logic diagrams, blueprints, loop drawings, wiring diagrams
• Ability to read and understand Single line drawings, Schematics, and Construction Documents.
• Allocating resources, materials, sub-contractors and other staff
• Assist the company in all regulatory inspections and audits (Corporate HSE audit, ISO audit etc) and ensure agreed actions are promptly implemented.
• Conduct, lead and participate in risk assessments and considering how risks could be reduced
• Endorsement of permit to work system and on-site inspection to ensure safe work procedures are being followed.
• Completing & submission of commissioning documentation such as check sheets, test procedures, mark-up drawings, etc.
• (Instrumentation Scope) Oversee inspection, calibration, loop check, tuning and test for various types of instrumentation.
• (Electrical Scope) knowledgeable with electrical installations such as switchgears, transformers, HT/LT distribution boards, MCC, UPS, generators, control panels, among others
• Able to oversee inspection and test on lightings, motors, power system, grounding system and other electrical systems.
