Drone Operator

Qualifications:

  • 24 to 42 y/o having relevant experience for the position
  • High school diploma/Aviation, Engineering, IT certification is a plus.
  • Valid drone operator license (e.g., CAAP license or equivalent)
  • Experience in commercial drone operation.
  • Knowledge of UAV systems, GPS, mapping software, and maintenance.
  • Familiar with drone laws and safety standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and coordination.
  • Ability to work independently outdoors.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
  • Preferred Skills (Optional)
    • Experience in GIS, photogrammetry, or aerial surveying.
    •  Skills in video editing or 3D modeling.
    • Data analysis for inspections or thermal scans.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate drones according to aviation laws and company policies.
  • Conduct pre-flight checks, site inspections, and equipment maintenance.
  • Capture high-quality aerial photos, videos, or data (mapping, thermal imaging, surveillance).
  • Manage and troubleshoot drone gear, including batteries and sensors.
  • Upload, process, and store data for projects.
  • Maintain accurate flight logs and documentation.
  • Coordinate flight schedules with teams and clients.
  • Monitor weather and airspace restrictions for safe operations.
  • Keep updated on drone regulations and new technologies.
