Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Cook, Chef, or in a similar food preparation role is preferred.

Knowledge of various cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen operations.

Familiarity with food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.

Ability to prepare meals efficiently while maintaining consistency and quality.

Good organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.

Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Honest, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to approved recipes, menus, and company standards.

Plan and organize daily food preparation to ensure timely meal service.

Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, slicing, marinating, and measuring as required.

Ensure food is cooked, portioned, and presented according to quality and presentation standards.

Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper storage to prevent spoilage and minimize waste.

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, food preparation areas, utensils, and cooking equipment.

Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards during food preparation and storage.

Monitor inventory of food supplies and report shortages or replenishment needs.

Properly store leftovers and rotate stock using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method.

Operate kitchen equipment safely and perform basic cleaning and maintenance after use.

Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations during meal service.

Perform other kitchen-related duties assigned by the Head Chef or management.
