METAL PAINTER

Qualifications:

• At least a High School Graduate.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience as a Metal Painter or in a similar painting role.
• Must possess a Certificate of Employment (COE) issued not later than 2021.
• Knowledge of metal surface preparation, paint application techniques, and finishing processes.
• Familiarity with spray painting equipment and industrial painting materials.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Physically and mentally fit to work abroad.
• Medically fit for overseas employment.
• Willing to work in accordance with Japanese workplace standards and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare metal surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, grinding, masking, and removing rust, grease, or old coatings.
• Apply primers, paints, and protective coatings to metal products using spray guns, brushes, rollers, or other approved application methods.
• Mix paints and coatings according to manufacturer specifications to achieve the required color, consistency, and finish.
• Inspect painted surfaces for quality, thickness, and defects, and perform touch-ups or rework as necessary.
• Operate and maintain painting equipment, spray booths, and related tools in good working condition.
• Follow production schedules while maintaining high standards of workmanship and efficiency.
• Observe workplace safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of paints, solvents, and chemicals.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with company housekeeping standards.
• Report equipment issues, material shortages, or quality concerns to the supervisor.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
