Transmission Rigger

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of verifiable experience as a Transmission Tower Rigger.
  • Experience with self-supported towers is required.
  • Skilled in rigging, assembly, and erection of cell towers or transmission towers.
  • Experience working with cranes, ideally hydraulic cranes.
  • Must possess training certificates for:
    • Work at Heights
    • Rigging Training
    • Willing to take IELTS.
    • Good English communication skills.
  • Must provide sample photos and videos of previous work experience.
  • Knowledgeable in tower safety procedures, rigging operations, and construction standards.
  • Physically fit and capable of working at heights and in outdoor construction environments.
  • Responsible, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a rigging or construction team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform rigging, assembly, and erection of transmission towers and telecommunications structures.
  • Assist in lifting, positioning, and securing tower components using cranes and rigging equipment.
  • Work safely at heights while following approved safety procedures and operational guidelines.
  • Conduct inspections of rigging gear, tools, and lifting equipment before and after use.
  • Coordinate with crane operators, supervisors, and site teams during lifting and tower erection activities.
  • Read and follow construction drawings, rigging plans, and technical instructions accurately.
  • Ensure proper alignment, stability, and secure installation of tower structures and components.
  • Report equipment defects, hazards, and safety concerns immediately to supervisors.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of work areas and rigging equipment.
  • Comply with workplace safety standards, fall protection procedures, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
