Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years working experience in beekeeping, honeybee management, or commercial apiary operations.
• OR at least 3 years hands-on experience combined with relevant formal qualification.
• Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s / College Degree in Agriculture or a related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Beekeeping or equivalent qualification is highly preferred.
• Experience in queen bee rearing is highly desirable.
• Experience in instrumental insemination of queen bees is an advantage.
• Experience in performance testing, data recording, and charting is an advantage.
• Ability to manage teams and delegate tasks effectively.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor agricultural environments.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor hive health, productivity, and seasonal colony development.
• Supervise, train, and assign tasks to subordinate staff and field workers.
• Assist in queen bee rearing and breeding operations.
• Maintain accurate records of hive performance, production data, and colony health status.
• Support or perform instrumental insemination of queen bees (advantageous).
• Conduct performance testing of colonies, including data collection, charting, and analysis.
• Assist in planning and monitoring operational budgets and resource usage.
• Implement biosecurity measures, disease prevention, and pest control procedures.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and agricultural best practices.
