TRUCK & TRAILER OPERATOR

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years working experience as a Heavy Truck / Trailer Driver or related role.
• Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
• Valid heavy vehicle driving license appropriate to assigned truck type.
• Experience in construction, oil & gas, logistics, infrastructure, or industrial transport is an advantage.
• Knowledge of road safety regulations and load securing procedures.
• Overseas experience is preferred, but local experience is accepted.
• Must provide valid proof of experience such as Certificates of Employment (COE), licenses, or work records.
• Physically fit and capable of working in demanding driving and site conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Operate assigned heavy vehicle or truck type safely and efficiently according to job specialization and site requirements.
• Transport materials, equipment, fuel, water, waste, or construction supplies to designated project sites and facilities.
• Ensure proper loading, unloading, and secure fastening of cargo using approved tie-down and safety procedures.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness and safe operation.
• Follow assigned routes, schedules, and site instructions while complying with traffic laws and regulations.
• Assist in loading/unloading operations when required, ensuring proper handling of materials and equipment.
• Maintain accurate logs of trips, deliveries, fuel consumption, and vehicle condition reports.
• Monitor vehicle performance and promptly report mechanical issues or maintenance needs.
• Ensure cleanliness and basic maintenance of assigned vehicle at all times.
• Follow all occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
