Philippine School Doha is seeking a qualified Secondary Filipino Teacher to handle Filipino language and literature subjects for junior and/or senior high school students following the Philippine K–12 curriculum. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Filipino, solid teaching experience, and a deep understanding of Filipino culture, literature, and language competencies.

Secondary English/Research Teacher

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience required.
• Post Graduate Diploma or Master’s Degree holder required.
• Must possess a valid PRC teaching license.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education major in Filipino or related field.
• Experience teaching Filipino subjects at the secondary level is an advantage.
• Strong proficiency in spoken and written Filipino.
• Knowledge of the Philippine K–12 curriculum and Filipino language competencies.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and implement lesson plans aligned with the Philippine K–12 curriculum for Filipino subjects.
• Teach Filipino grammar, communication, literature, reading, writing, and language skills effectively.
• Facilitate discussions, oral presentations, literary analysis, and language enrichment activities.
• Assess and evaluate students’ academic performance through examinations, projects, recitations, and written outputs.
• Encourage appreciation of Filipino culture, literature, traditions, and values.
• Prepare instructional materials, visual aids, and assessment tools.
• Maintain effective classroom management and a positive learning environment.
