QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in construction, engineering, or QS-related work
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and cost estimation techniques
- Basic understanding of contracts, procurement, and project management principles
- Good analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation
- Monitor project costs and provide regular financial reports
- Evaluate contractor and supplier quotations and negotiate pricing
- Assist in contract administration and documentation
- Conduct site visits to verify quantities and assess work progress
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to manage costs effectively
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
- Provide technical guidance and support on cost-related matters
