FORKLIFT TELEHANDLER MECHANIC

Qualifications:

  • Must have at least 5 years of continuous work experience as a Forklift / Telehandler Mechanic
  • At least 1 year of college education or completion of a 1-year vocational course
  • Preferably with experience in repairing telehandlers, scissor lifts, and electric forklifts
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Ability to interpret OEM manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic faults in equipment
  • Repair hydraulic systems including pumps, cylinders, motors, valves, and hoses
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems (12V/24V/48V), controllers, and wiring
  • Repair or replace components such as drive systems, slew rings, and outriggers
  • Interpret OEM manuals and technical diagrams for accurate repairs
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure equipment reliability
  • Ensure all repairs comply with safety and operational standards
    Maintain accurate service and repair documentation
