KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER (HOSPITALITY)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of four (4) years of relevant working experience.
  • Bachelor’s/College Degree in Business Studies, Administration, Management, or related field.
  • Degree or diploma in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or similar discipline is preferred (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education).
  • At least 2–4 years of experience in FMCG sales, key account management, or related roles with proven achievement of sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and sustain strong commercial relationships with hospitality clients across hotels, restaurants, and cafes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of account activity, customer interactions, sales pipelines, and performance using designated reporting tools.
  • Drive revenue growth within existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling initiatives across the company’s product range.
  • Proactively identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities to expand the customer base and increase market share.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (procurement, logistics, warehousing, and finance) to ensure smooth operations, accurate deliveries, and timely issue resolution.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market trends, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare and present account performance reviews, sales forecasts, and business plans.
  • Manage customer payment performance in line with agreed credit terms, minimizing overdue balances in coordination with the finance team.
