MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN (Centrifugal Pumps / Compressors)

Qualifications:

  • Typically 3-10 years of experience in rotating equipment maintenance.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency In interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and manuals.
  • Certifications: ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Specialized Knowledge: Familiarity with mechanical seals, bearings, and lubrication systems.
  • Location/Status: Must be available for work in the Middle East (UAE Oman, etc.)

Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance & Overhaul: Dismantle, repair, and assemble centrifugal pumps (OH2, BB1-BBS, VS1NS7), screw pumps, and compressors.
  • Precision Work: Perform laser alignment, dial gauge alignment, and balancing operations
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix mechanical issues such as vibration, bearing failures, and seal leaks.
  • Documentation: Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) like Maximo for maintenance records.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to Permit to Work (PTW) and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
