Accountant

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance.
  • Must be a Professional License holder (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) such as CPA or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting standards, and financial management processes.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Record and account for all financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain general and subsidiary ledgers and ensure proper documentation of financial records.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
  • Prepare year-end financial statements and supporting schedules for the business.
  • Manage key financial processes including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Inventory, Fixed Assets, Tax Compliance, and Cashflow Planning.
  • Monitor financial performance and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Prepare management reports for Tongs Corporation and its group of companies.
  • Analyze financial performance and provide financial insights and advice to management for strategic decision-making.
