SCAFFOLDING INSPECTOR

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of working experience in scaffolding inspection within oil & gas, petrochemical, or large-scale construction projects
• Bachelor’s / College Degree in Engineering (Others) or related discipline
• With valid TESDA NC II Certificate (Scaffolding)
• Must possess valid Third-Party Certification (e.g., TUV, Velosi, Bureau Veritas)
• Strong knowledge of scaffolding standards (e.g., OSHA, BS/EN standards, or equivalent)
• Excellent understanding of load calculations, structural stability, and safe access systems
• Strong documentation and reporting skills
• Male applicants are preferred for this role

Responsibilities:

• Conduct rigorous and regular inspections of scaffolding structures prior to use and during operations
• Verify scaffolding stability, alignment, load capacity, and compliance with approved design plans
• Ensure all scaffolding installations meet project specifications and international safety standards
• Tag and certify scaffolds as safe for use; immediately prohibit use of unsafe structures
• Coordinate with scaffolding supervisors and construction teams to address deficiencies
• Review scaffolding method statements and risk assessments
• Maintain detailed inspection records and submit reports to project management and HSE department
• Participate in incident investigations related to scaffolding and working-at-height activities
• Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with site safety procedures
