POWER STATION OPERATOR

Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of 7 years of working experience as a Power Station Operator or in a similar role
• Must be a Bachelor’s / College Degree holder in Chemical Engineering or related engineering fields
• Strong knowledge of power generation processes and plant operations
• Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to system abnormalities
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills
• Must be physically fit and able to work in a power plant environment
• Willing to comply with company policies and safety regulations

Responsibilities:

• Control and monitor power station operations to ensure continuous and efficient power generation
• Operate and monitor equipment such as turbines, generators, and boilers
• Manage and regulate fuel flow processes to maintain optimal plant performance
• Monitor control panels, gauges, meters, and alarms to ensure systems operate safely
• Detect, troubleshoot, and respond to equipment malfunctions or abnormal conditions
• Perform routine inspections and coordinate maintenance activities when required
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards
• Maintain accurate operational logs and reports
• Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and supervisors to ensure smooth plant operations
