TELECOM TECHNICIAN
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years work experience as a Telecom Technician
- At least 10 years of hands-on experience in telecommunications systems
- Must be fluent in the English language (spoken and written)
- Must have overseas employment experience
- Must provide references from previous employers
- Strong technical knowledge of radio communication and wireless transmission systems
- Physically fit and able to work in field and technical environments
- Willing to work in Angola and comply with company policies
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, program, and repair Motorola VHF/UHF radios
- Operate communication systems analyzers for testing and diagnostics
- Perform tuning of duplexers and cavity filters
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Motorola VHF/UHF repeater systems
- Conduct maintenance and fault diagnosis on microwave link systems, including:
- FIBER AIR IP 10G Series
- RADWIN Point-to-Point Wireless Bridge systems
- Ensure optimal performance and reliability of telecom networks
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize system downtime
- Prepare technical reports and maintenance documentation
- Follow safety procedures and technical standards during all operations
