Animal Care Worker

Qualifications:

  • Female applicants are preferred
  • Proven experience providing care for a variety of animals, including tigers, reptiles, monkeys, or similar wildlife
  • Knowledge of animal care, feeding routines, and enclosure maintenance
  • Ability to follow strict safety and animal-handling protocols
  • Physically fit and capable of working in animal care environments
  • Responsible, attentive, and able to work as part of a team

Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily care and feeding for animals such as tigers, reptiles, monkeys, and other species
  • Clean and maintain animal enclosures to ensure hygiene and safety
  • Monitor animal behavior, health, and physical condition
  • Report any signs of illness, injury, or unusual behavior to supervisors or veterinarians
  • Assist in handling animals following approved safety procedures
  • Ensure proper storage and preparation of animal food and supplies
  • Follow animal welfare guidelines and workplace safety regulations
  • Support veterinarians and senior staff during routine checks or treatments
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment
