Public Area Attendant

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or public area cleaning is an advantage
  • Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and safety practices
  • Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and service-focused
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, lounges, and common spaces
  • Ensure cleanliness of floors, furniture, fixtures, windows, and surfaces
  • Replenish supplies in public restrooms and common areas
  • Properly handle and store cleaning equipment and chemicals
  • Follow health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times
  • Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors
  • Assist guests courteously when approached
  • Maintain cleanliness of service areas and storage rooms
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
