FOOD PROCESSING PLANT OPERATOR
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in food processing or manufacturing
- 5+ years of experience in a supervisory or plant operations role is a strong advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field is an advantage
- Proven ability to manage large teams and production operations
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, food processing, and proper handling
- Experience in ERP systems and relevant production technologies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight production deadlines
- Experience in budget management is an advantage
- Knowledge of sustainable and environmentally friendly practices
Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor, and oversee food processing and manufacturing operations
- Analyze and interpret production data to improve efficiency and output
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards
- Supervise and manage production staff and large operational teams
- Coordinate production schedules and meet tight deadlines
- Utilize ERP systems and production-related software
- Support budget planning, cost control, and resource management
- Implement sustainable and environmentally friendly practices
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions
- Maintain clear communication across departments and management
