ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER BOH

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred
• Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in food service, restaurant operations, or a similar role

Responsibilities:

• Support the General Manager (GM) in establishing and maintaining a robust Family Tree and Plan B coverage for each role to ensure business continuity and operational efficiency
• Drive team happiness and engagement by role-modeling Pret’s Values and Behaviors and by promoting the Joy of Pret, fun, and positivity for both team members and customers
• Support in-house training programs, legal compliance training, and team graduations by ensuring all activities are completed according to agreed standards, guidelines, and timelines
• Complete required training journals, performance reviews, and documentation accurately and on time
• Embrace and demonstrate Thoughtful Leadership Principles (Being Kind, Honest, and Generous) in daily operations
• Contribute to minimizing employee turnover by following established Turnover Principles
• Conduct regular 1:1 meetings with team members to review performance using Pret Behaviors, KPIs, and SMART targets
• Promote and nurture team well-being, including encouraging a healthy work–life balance
• Support the GM in following up and implementing meaningful actions arising from Pret’s Big Conversation initiatives
• Be primarily assigned to the Back of the House (BOH) to ensure proper monitoring of operations, maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and production efficiency
