LEAD SR. MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred
• Minimum of 5 years work experience

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise mechanical technicians, millwrights, and helpers assigned to rotating equipment
• Plan and execute installation, alignment, commissioning, maintenance, and overhaul of rotary equipment
• Perform and verify precision alignment (laser/dial), leveling, and grouting
• Diagnose and resolve complex faults in pumps, compressors, turbines, gearboxes, fans, and blowers
• Oversee bearing, seal, coupling, and lubrication system maintenance
• Support turnarounds, shutdowns, and critical maintenance activities
• Review and interpret P&IDs, GA drawings, mechanical layouts, and OEM manuals
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, PTW, LOTO, lifting plans, and SIMOPS
• Coordinate with mechanical engineers, reliability teams, vibration analysts, and operations
• Verify job quality, prepare technical reports, maintenance records, and punch lists
• Ensure proper use, calibration, and maintenance of tools, lifting equipment
