VALVE TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred
• Minimum of 5 years work experience

Responsibilities:

• Perform inspection, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of valves: gate, globe, ball, check, butterfly, control, PSV/PRV Conduct valve testing including hydrostatic, pneumatic, seat leakage, and functional tests
• Disassemble, clean, inspect, lap, and reassemble valve components
• Repair or replace seats, discs, stems, seals, gaskets, packing, and actuators
• Read and interpret valve drawings, datasheets, P&IDs, and OEM manuals
• Carry out valve installation, removal, and reinstatement on pipelines and equipment
• Maintain valve service records, test reports, and traceability documents
• Coordinate with QA/QC, inspection, and operations teams
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, PTW, LOTO, confined space, and lifting procedures
• Support shutdowns, turnarounds, and emergency maintenance activities
