BOLTING TORQUING TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred
• Minimum of 5 years work experience

Responsibilities:

• Perform controlled bolting, torquing, and de-torquing of flanges and bolted joints
• Operate hydraulic torque wrenches, bolt tensioners, and manual torque tools
• Follow approved bolting procedures, torque charts, and tightening sequences
• Execute flange assembly and disassembly in piping systems, pressure vessels, and equipment
• Verify bolt grades, gasket types, lubrication, and alignment prior to tightening
• Perform flange integrity checks and leak prevention measures
• Maintain and inspect torque and tensioning equipment ensuring calibration validity
• Complete bolting records, torque logs, and job reports
• Comply with HSE requirements, PTW, LOTO, SIMOPS, and lifting procedures
• Support shutdowns, turnarounds

Requirements:
