Catalyst Technician

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Catalyst Technician in oil & gas or petrochemical plants
• Strong knowledge of catalyst types, handling procedures, and process requirements
• Ability to collaborate easily with co-workers and work independently
• Familiarity with safety, environmental, and process industry standards
• Good communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Handle, inspect, and maintain catalysts used in refinery or petrochemical processes
• Load, unload, and transfer catalysts safely according to operational procedures
• Conduct routine checks and maintenance on catalyst systems
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and inventory management of catalysts
• Follow site safety protocols, work permits, and environmental regulations
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and operators on catalyst handling schedules
• Maintain accurate records of catalyst usage, inspections, and maintenance activities
• Identify and report safety hazards or operational issues promptly
