SALESMAN – PRODUCE ASSOCIATE

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred
• Minimum of 2 years work experience

Responsibilities:

• Stocks, rotates, and maintains fresh fruits and vegetables in a grocery store, ensuring displays are attractive, clean, and fully stocked while assisting customers with selections and inquiries, and following all food safety guidelines.
• Arrange, stock, and rotate produce items according to freshness and company standards, ensuring displays are appealing.
• Help customers find products, answer questions about produce, and address concerns politely and efficiently.
• Inspect incoming shipments, remove damaged or expired items, and ensure product freshness.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in the produce section.
• Monitor stock levels, report shortages, and assist with ordering supplies.
• Ensure all items are accurately priced and labeled.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company safety regulations, including proper lifting techniques.
