PRICE AND INVENTORY CONTROLLER

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred
• Minimum of 2 years work experience

Responsibilities:

• Balances stock levels, manages procurement, and controls costs by monitoring inventory movement, conducting audits
• Developing strategies (like ABC analysis, FIFO/FEFO), liaising with suppliers/teams, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records using systems like SAP/NetSuite
• Ensuring materials are available while minimizing overstock and waste for operational efficiency.
• Oversee all stock (inbound/outbound), tracking movement and location in warehouses/storage.
• Maintain optimal levels, identifying needs for replenishment to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Perform regular stock takes (cycle counts, physical counts) and reconcile with system records.
• Ensure organized, clean, safe storage, proper labeling, and handling of items.
• Investigate and resolve issues, losses, or discrepancies in stock.
• Obtain price quotes, prepare purchase orders, and process invoices.
• Develop strategies to minimize holding costs and maximize capital use.
• Analyze supplier performance, costs, and market data for better buying decisions.
• Create and implement inventory control policies and strategies (e.g., ABC Analysis, FIFO/FEFO).
• Predict future needs based on sales data and schedules
• Generate reports on levels, costs, turnover, and performance for management.
• Coordinate with Sales, Supply Chain, Production, and Warehouse teams.
• Maintain and update inventory records in relevant software
