AIRCON TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

  • At least 3-5 years experiences in building maintenance, repair and construction programBetween 21 years old to 40 years old
  • Knowledgeable in building and safety code requirements
  • Must be able to perform physical activities such as but not limited to, lifting equipment, bending,
    standing, climbing, or walking.
  • Able to handle hazardous materials safely and tolerate exposure to electrical hazards as well as
    environmental hazards such as molds and various solvents
  • Able to think analytically and independently
  • Must be able to work in fast phased environment
  • With commitment to safe work practises.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and fix problems that might find in air conditioning systems
  • Test system performance using special equipment, such as hand tools and diagnostic hardware
  • Review blueprints, install air conditioning systems for proper functioning, perform emergency repairs,
    maintaining tools, ordering supplies and making routine adjustments to maximize operational efficiency
  • Maintain appropriate service and repair records
  • Clean the system, change filters and check air quality levels
  • Replace broken or worn parts to ensure the system operates in accordance with industry standards
  • Check carbon dioxide levels, humidity levels and other components after installing the system to ensure
    safety and functional
  • Research and do the inventory for equipment parts, chemicals and supplies
  • Assists in the writing of specifications for repairs and new construction
  • Assists and serves as back up to other Repair and Maintenance employees
