AWP/Forklift Technician

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience as an AWP Technician or in heavy equipment servicing.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Experience working with leading brands (e.g., Genie, JLG, Haulotte) is highly desirable.
• Relevant trade qualification in mechanical, electrical, or equipment servicing.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Valid passport and readiness with visa documentation (police clearance, employment records, school credentials, etc.).

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, service, and repair AWPs including scissor lifts, boom lifts, and telehandlers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical faults.
• Carry out routine maintenance in line with manufacturer and safety standards.
• Test equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate service records and reports.
• Comply with Australian workplace health and safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and teams to meet project timelines.
