DENTAL TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience as a Dental Technician in a dental laboratory setting.
• Must have hands-on experience in ceramic layering and working with zirconia and lithium disilicate restorations, with strong knowledge of digital dentistry workflows.
• Skilled in crafting high-quality dental restorations such as crowns, bridges, veneers, and implants using a variety of ceramic materials.
• Proficient in creating accurate dental models from impressions provided by dental practitioners.
• Possesses good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and follow technical instructions precisely.
• Able to provide at least 1 year of recent work references and supporting documentation as proof of experience.

Responsibilities:

• Design, construct, and repair dental prosthetics, including crowns, bridges, dentures, and orthodontic appliances.
• Create accurate models of patients’ mouths and teeth using impressions provided by dental practitioners.
• Fabricate orthodontic devices including braces, retainers, and mouthguards using plastic, metal, or ceramic materials.
• Work with CAD/CAM technology and other digital dental tools to enhance precision and efficiency in fabrication.
• Design, construct, and repair ceramic restorations such as crowns, bridges, and dentures.
• Modify and polish dental appliances to ensure comfort, accuracy, and function before patient placement.
• Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to achieve optimal results.
• Follow workplace health, safety, and infection control protocols.
