Qualifications:
- Male applicants are preferred
- Minimum of 2 years work experience
- Excellent knife skills, particularly in filleting and slicing raw fish
- Proven experience in fast-paced kitchens or Japanese/sushi restaurants
- Deep understanding of Japanese ingredients, seasonality, and flavor profiles
- Ability to prepare and artistically present sushi dishes
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, especially concerning raw fish - Strong customer service skills, especially in open-kitchen or omakase-style settings
- Good time management and attention to detail
