STORE WORKER

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years and above experience as a store worker in supermarket.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills for cashiering duties.
• Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Willing to undergo Finnish language training once hired.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, organize, and replenish stocks on shelves and display areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in assigned sections of the supermarket.
• Assist customers in locating products and provide helpful, friendly service.
• Check product expiration dates, ensure proper labeling, and follow FIFO (First In, First Out) system.
• Operate the cash register, process payments, and issue receipts accurately.
• Monitor inventory levels and inform supervisors of low or out-of-stock items.
• Support store promotions and assist in setting up product displays or signage.
• Handle products carefully to prevent damage and maintain quality standards.
• Follow store safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor or store manager.
