Sushi Commissary Chef 1

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts, Hotel & Restaurant Management or equivalent.
• Food Safety /HACCP training preferred
• Preferably with experience in Japanese Restaurant

Responsibilities:

• Prepare sushi rice, fish, vegetables, sauces, and other ingredients following standard recipes and portion guidelines.
• Assemble maki, nigiri, sashimi, and specialty rolls as required for bulk production.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, utensils, and cold storage.
• Ensure all ingredients are properly labeled, stored, and rotated (FIFO system).
• Follow all food safety and hygiene procedures as per company and HACCP standards.
• Support the Head Sushi Chef in maintaining daily production schedules.

Requirements:

• Valid passport ( 2 years validity)
• Updated resume
• Certificate of Employment
• PEOS and EREG
