DEMI CHEF DE PARTIE

Qualifications:

• At least 2 yrs experience as a DCDP in a premium dining restaurant
• Certificate or diploma in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management
• Experience in international hotels , resorts or fine -dining restaurants is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• This involves closely working with other members of the culinary team to design and prepare an enticing menu that’s sure to entice guests to dine at the establishment.
• A Chef de Partie may have to supervise junior chefs, effectively taking charge of certain sections in the kitchen. They are expected to ensure that all dishes from their section are cooked to perfection and served on time.
• The Chef de Partie is responsible for maintaining high hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen. This involves ensuring all tools and workspaces are clean, tidy, and functional.
• Monitoring the cooking process and seasoning of dishes to ensure a visually appealing presentation and optimal taste. Assisting in managing stock and inventory to prevent shortages or wastage.
• Upholding strict hygiene and safety rules by regularly cleaning their work area and adhering to all relevant protocols. Collaborating closely with the rest of the team to ensure efficient coordination during service, especially during busy periods
