STORE SUPERVISOR

Qualifications:

• Male Applicants are preferred
• Minimum of 5 years work experience

Responsibilities:

• A store supervisor in construction is responsible for managing inventory, overseeing material orders, and ensuring the efficient operation of the construction site store.
• Inventory Management: The store supervisor is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring that all materials and supplies are adequately stocked. This includes monitoring stock levels, conducting regular inventory counts
• Material Orders and Receipts: They prepare material orders based on project needs, receive deliveries, and verify that the correct quantities and types of materials have been received. This involves checking the quality of materials
• Record Keeping: The supervisor maintains detailed records of all materials received and issued, including daily consumption reports. This helps in tracking usage and managing costs effectively.
• Coordination with Site Personnel: The store supervisor works closely with construction workers, engineers, and project managers to ensure that materials are available when needed. They may also assist in preparing quality reports for received mate
• Safety and Compliance: Ensuring that all materials are stored safely and that the store complies with health and safety regulations is a critical responsibility. This includes conducting regular inspections of the storage area and equipment.
• Communication with Suppliers: The supervisor follows up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and may negotiate terms to secure the best prices for the project.
