Lodge Manager

Qualifications:

• 3 years Housekeeping/Culinary Experience in a remote farm/stations
• Ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about both culinary excellence and cleanliness.

Responsibilities:

• We are seeking a highly organized, reliable, and experienced Lodge Manager to oversee daily kitchen operations and housekeeping functions at the 4-bedroom company guest lodge.
• This position requires a dedicated individual capable of preparing high-quality meals while maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized living or hospitality environment.
• Plan, prepare, and cook daily meals in accordance with dietary preferences and nutritional needs.
• Ensure kitchen hygiene standards are met and maintained.
• Manage food inventory, including shopping for groceries and supplies.
• Create menus and meal schedules as requested.
• Cater for special events or guests as needed.
• Supervise and perform general cleaning tasks: dusting, vacuuming, mopping, laundry, and linen care.
• Ensure all living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas are consistently clean and tidy.
• Oversee organization and cleanliness of storage areas and closets.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and household items.
• Coordinate with external service providers (e.g., deep cleaning, repairs, pest control).
• Schedule, train and oversee housekeeping staff.
• Maintain a daily/weekly task checklist and ensure timely completion.
• Monitor budgets for groceries and supplies.
• Communicate regularly with management about household needs and improvements
