INSPECTOR WELDING

Qualifications:

  • Male applicants are preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience

Responsibilities:

  • Review and verify Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), and Welder Performance Qualifications (WPQ).
  • Inspect welding joints, weld dimensions, and weld quality according to applicable codes (ASME, API, AWS, IS
  • Monitor welding processes, consumables, and heat treatment activities.
  • Conduct visual inspections and coordinate NDT activities such as RT, UT, MT, and PT. Verify base materials and filler materials for certification and traceability.
  • Ensure proper welding sequence, preheat, interpass temperature, and post-weld heat treatment (PWHT).
  • Identify and document nonconformances, and verify corrective actions.
  • Prepare inspection reports, weld maps, and welding records for project documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
  • Work closely with construction, fabrication, and QA/QC teams to resolve welding issues.
  • Support mechanical completion and commissioning teams with weld documentation.
