CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years work experience
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (business administration, accounting or finance)
  • Current CPA, CA or similar qualifications are mandatory
  • Extensive experience in a senior level finance management/CFO position, with responsibility for all finance systems (>10 years in senior finance role highly regarded)
  • Proven experience working strategically at senior levels as a member of the management team reporting to the Board
  • High level senior leadership skills with the proven ability to collaborate with peers, build a positive team culture, align teams with organizational values and goals, provide effective financial and people management and role model expected behavior

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the financial management, and sustainability of the company and ensure that appropriate financial resources are available and managed in line with corporate policies and procedures and relevant legislation
  • Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and forecasts and provide financial analysis and commentary to assist in effective decision making
  • Provide financial advice and analysis to the Board of Directors on all strategic and operational aspects of financial management for the organisation.
  • Lead the Finance Team to ensure that it delivers a high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure the Finance Team’s activities and objectives align with the Company’s values and strategic goals
  • Lead, inspire, and support the development of the Dept to deliver on individual and organizational goals
