SUPERINTENDENT (SAFETY)

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred
• Minimum of 5 years work experience

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead site safety officers and HSE personnel to ensure all work activities are carried out safely.
• Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies, procedures, and risk control measures.
• Ensure compliance with company, client, and international safety standards (OSHA, NEBOSH, ISO 45001, etc.).
• Review and approve safety method statements, risk assessments (HIRA), and job safety analyses (JSA).
• Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations; recommend corrective actions.
• Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions to promote safety awareness.
• Oversee implementation of permit-to-work systems and ensure strict adherence to safety protocols.
• Coordinate emergency response drills and ensure readiness for emergencies.
• Prepare HSE statistics, reports, and dashboards for management and client review.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve safety-related issues.
• Support the continuous improvement of safety management systems (SMS).
