AUTO PAINTER
Qualifications:
- Skilled in all surface preparation techniques, including sanding and masking
- Strong knowledge of paint mixing, color matching, and application techniques
- Proficient in using spray guns, paint booths, and related equipment
- Familiar with various automotive paint types: primers, base coats, clear coats, and specialty finishes
- Ability to identify, trouble shoot, and repair paint defects to deliver a flawless finish
- Knowledge of work place safety standards and proper handling of chemicals and solvents
Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting by performing sanding,masking,and cleaning tasks
- Accurately mix paint colors to match original vehicle finishes or customer specifications
- Apply primers, base coats ,clear coats, and specialty finishes using professional spray equipment
- Identify and correct paint imperfections such as drips, runs, bubbles, or uneven coverage
- Ensure high-quality, uniform paint application across all vehicle panels and parts
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations related to paint application and chemical handling
