Rolling Mill Mechanical Technician

Qualifications:

• Engineering Degree preferably Mechanical Engineering
• 7+ yrs experience in the steel industry
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of the industry
• Ability to think in complex and ever-changing situations.
• Ability to work well under pressure within timeframes.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to solve problems.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare & execute mechanical preventive maintenance works & urgent repair works to ensure smooth Rolling Mill operation which consists of reheating furnace, rolling mill & finishing facilities
• Execute planned & unplanned maintenance and repair items for the rolling mill mechanical equipment
